Quarterly

VAT Registration & Return Filing UAE

5% UAE VAT done right — registration, filing, input recovery and health checks.

VAT penalties in the UAE are rarely about fraud. They are about weak records — missing tax invoices, wrong place of supply, standard-rating something that was zero-rated. We file returns that are supported, and we tell you where you are exposed before the FTA does.

  • Registration & de-registrationMandatory threshold AED 375,000; voluntary AED 187,500. We handle the application and the FTA queries.
  • Quarterly return filingPrepared, reviewed and filed with a working file behind every box on the return.
  • Input tax recoveryWe recover what you are entitled to and block what you are not — blocked items like entertainment and certain motor vehicles.
  • VAT health checkA review of past returns to find errors before they become penalties.
  • Voluntary disclosureWhere an error is found, we quantify it and file Form 211 correctly.
  • Penalty reconsiderationWe prepare and submit reconsideration requests to the FTA with supporting evidence.

Questions

Common questions

When must I register for VAT in the UAE?

Registration is mandatory once taxable supplies exceed AED 375,000 in the previous 12 months, or are expected to exceed it in the next 30 days. Voluntary registration is available above AED 187,500.

What is the penalty for late VAT filing?

Penalties apply for late filing and late payment, and they escalate. If you have already received one, a reconsideration request is often worth submitting — we prepare these regularly.

How do I remove VAT from a gross figure?

Divide by 1.05. A gross AED 105 is AED 100 net plus AED 5 VAT. Our free VAT calculator does this both ways.
